Natalia Allende is the founder and principal designer behind our studio. Born in Chile and based in the United States, her work is shaped by formal study in art history and philosophy, and a lifelong engagement with global culture.
She approaches design as a tribute to each homeowner’s individuality, accenting timeless appeal with a sophisticated edge. For Natalia, home is a vessel for our identities. She believes authenticity outlasts fad cycling and that every client brings a point of view worth expressing.
“Trends are for the anxious.”
—John Maclean

Natalia’s aesthetic training gives her a strong instinct for fine art, and her carefully curated network of artists enables exclusive sourcing opportunities. Few things delight her more than helping clients build an art collection or discover its crown jewel.
Years of managing businesses inform a design process that’s organized, clear, and respectful of investment. Our clients can expect careful planning and steady guidance that moves projects forward without surprises.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Natalia is able to communicate directly with a wider range of trades and craftspeople. This allows for clearer collaboration and a smoother experience throughout the project.
Natalia founded and led the Chilean chapter of Design for Change and served as a founding member of the Design for Change Global Board. These leadership roles reflect her belief that design has the power to improve lives and strengthen communities.
“I can’t say enough positive things about working with Natalia. And absolutely everything is a collaboration with her. Natalia brought us so many creative ideas, most of which we would never have thought of ourselves.”
